A few days ago, I had just woken up and was lounging around when I stumbled upon a marathon of old Laguna Beach reruns on MTV. And I got pretty excited {embarrassingly so}. I have to admit, this was one of the shows I loved watching in high school. I can't tell you why.. it just was. Am I alone in this? Anyways, while watching I couldn't help but think about how much Lauren Conrad has evolved since her high school days spent on the show -- and I mostly mean style-wise. I often look to her for style inspiration, so it was kind of funny to take a look back at where she got her "start." At any rate, I just find her style to be very relatable to my own taste {skinny jeans, flats, and blazers are my absolute wardrobe essentials}. Here I've recreated one of Lauren's daytime, street-style looks and one of her more dressed up outfits, because both are looks that I would easily put together and wear myself.
Cardigan: Gerry Weber; Top & Bracelet: Mango; Jeans: J Brand; Shoes: Modcloth; Bag: Dorothy Perkins; Sunglasses: River Island

Blazer & Shoes: She Inside; Top: John Patrick Organic; Leggings: Topshop; Clutch: Asos; Necklace: Wildfox Couture

I think I did a fairly good job of keeping the price points more reasonable and accessible, too. So what do you think? Are you a Lauren Conrad fan? Are either of these looks up your style alley?
