Suhweeet Butter

The other day, my best friends and I had a much needed girls day out. I wish I had taken more photos throughout the day to show you all! For lunch we ventured out to Sweet Butter Kitchen Cafe & Market, a cute little place we discovered in the valley. To sum up our first experience there in one word: perfection! I ordered the croque monsieur and, again, wish I got a photo of it in all its gooey, melted Gruyere and smoked ham goodness. Served up with a generous helping of greens tossed in a yummy, lemon-y vinaigrette, making me feel (slightly!) better about devouring an entire grilled ham and cheese sandwich. My friends got the grilled turkey and fig jam sandwich, and "south of the boulevard" salad, respectively -- both, also, inhaled their meals mm-ing and ahh-ing just like I did. Looking around at other tables, as I have a tendency of doing (sounds slightly creepy, maybe, but I'm a very visual person and love seeing what I should try out next) I saw their shoestring fries, mini burger sliders, and grilled veggie salad, all looking equally amazing. Overall, a perfect place for a light lunch with the girls.

Afterwards, we stopped into what was evidently Lisa Rinna's boutique, Belle Gray, and were definitely less than impressed... but such is life! We ended our day playing board games with the boys.
